Exhibition Schedule

M.E. Ware: Ritual Regalia for Contemporary Living, November 6 - November 21, 2009. Main Gallery, The sculptural works in this exhibition were created during a Spring 2009 sabbatical. The works are wearable and conceptually wearable garments designed to illuminate contmeporary society's need for ceremony and ritual. These garments are made using traditional sculptural materials and post consumer goods. They are constructed with a sense of irony and humor to expose deficiencies in our desire for meaning and purpose in contemporary life. Reception-Thursday, November 5, 2009, 4-6 pm.
